こちらの『The Creator（Side story 1）』は、3月に日本語版をAmazonキンドルで販売開始した電子書籍『創造主 外伝1話』を英訳した作品になります。
なお、「英訳の打ち合わせ⇒英訳をプロに外注⇒セリフ部分の画像加工＆置き換え⇒電子書籍化⇒Amazonキンドル＆著者セントラルに登録」といった一連の流れを、全て徳留工作出版でさせて頂きました。セリフ部分の画像加工に時間が必要になったため完成までに1か月ほどのお時間を頂戴しましたが、無事に完成して嬉しく感じています。

創造主外伝1話の主人公「ディーナ＝ロウス」は、神々を創った「創造主」として世界を治めています。容姿、能力、人格などが、ほぼ完ぺきな彼女ですが、猪武者の一面もあるので周囲の臣下が四苦八苦することもあります。
この作品は、そんな彼女が「創造主として崇められる日々を厭って、家出をしてしまう」ところから始まります。
普通に生きたい主人公。でも、周囲はそれを許してはくれない――SFとファンタジーが混ざったような独特の世界の中で、「創造主としてのディーナ」と「1人の個性を持つ存在としてのディーナ」の物語が繰り広げられます。
まさにニャングウエイ様が長年、設定や構想を形にしていたことが伝わってくる作品です。
特に「設定の厚み」や「キャラの個性」が全体を通して強く感じられますので、SFやファンタジーが好きな方だけでなく「異世界小説」や「WEB小説」を書いている方にもお勧めしたい作品だと感じました。

The main character Dina Loews controls the world as “the creator” who created the God.Her appearance, ability and personality are almost perfect. However, she often creates troubles and her servants struggle with her.
This work begins with her disappearing from home as she doesn’t like “the days of being admired as the Creator”.
Dina wants to live in an ordinally life.The people surrounding however wouldn’t allow her to do so.
In the unique world where science fiction and fantasy meet, the story of Dina “as the Creator” and “as an entity with one personality” unfolds.
It is the work which shows how Nyangway has been working on its settings and ideas for many years.
You’d especially feel “the depth of its settings” and “the personalities of its characters” throughout the story. I would recommend this work not only to those who enjoy SF and fantasy, but to those who write another universe related novels and online novels.
